How do I delete the blue highlighting of my text boxes in Messages and my emails on my ipad?

Check Settings>Accessibility>VoiceOver and see if that is turned on. The blue border highlights the text, then tapping it again will select/activate the text.

Thanks Brenden dv, but my issue is not with iMessage, its with all messages. After the last update I started getting blue highlighting around emails that I open up. I also see highlighting around messages in Notes. I dont like the bright blue highlighting and want to know how to delete it if I can. I am assuming the update to my ipad include an enhancement to add this highlighting to all messages. Never had it before the update... I dont want to turn off iMessage just dont want highlighting in my emails, notes and iMessages.
