iPhone space issue : iOS14.1

iPhone space issue : iOS14.1, 15 of 16G used, how to free/fix this ? Will it install or automatically free space ? My own phone is not receiving this iOS, older model, and I am not sure what to do.

If your iPhone has 15GB used out of total 16GB available then I am afraid that is not going to install anything at this point. It will also begin preforming badly. You can begin deleting data from your iPhone (Media Files take up the most space so begin there) to free up space. You can connect your iPhone to a Mac or a PC with iTunes and attempt to update it to iOS 14 that way however I seriously doubt that the installation will complete with such little free space available.

Thanks, maybe I should explain. In storage, the first thing is iOS 14.1. Previously, Netflix was keeping files and we where able to recover that. Now, just two days later, this Maj have used up the space. The two thing is iOS 14 with 2.5Go and system with 10Go. What is the way to reduce "system" and remove iOS 14 in apps taking space ? This is just a 16Go cell phone. It is used to chat, cast Netflix et Illico (equivalent) streaming to a Chromecast (my >70year old mother).

15.6 out of 16 G used.

===============

iOS 14.2 2.46 Go

Google 274 Mo

Google Map 255 Mo

...

System 10.64 Go
