How to adjust widget size to fit additional widget content ?

Ah, IdrisSeabright added clarity as usual.
I am not suggesting resizing, which is not possible. I am suggesting there are different size widgets available.

Apple is not known for allowing customization. However, you can let them know what you'd like to see here:
thanks. But, doesn't help. I tried adding 'Stocks' to the widget panel, stays as small square, not able to resize (forget fullscreen). this new update simply broke my original home screen.
Yup. I can't resize to see entire list.
I don’t know what “resize” means in your comment.
You start with what I showed you. Then you swipe. There is no “resize”.

Hopefully as you did this, you saw this screen.
Note the four dots above “add widget”, which indicate additional views for this widget. Swipe right-to-left to see these views.

You can't change the size of a widget. An app may offer a couple of different sizes that you can pick from, however.
