songs sync that aren't checked

iphone 5s songs sync that aren't checked. Setting is "only sync checked songs and playlists"

Make sure that you are not seeing purchased songs that are not actually on the phone. You can filter the Music app to just show downloaded music. Other music would have a cloud by it.
