HP Bluetooth Laser Mobile Mouse (Model N558) - Error Connection failed

Hi,

I'm trying to pair my bluetooth HP Mouse, but get a connection failed error. My mouse doesn't have a pair code, so I left the code field empty. I've also tried code 0000 and 1234, but still get connection failed. My mac is a Late 2012 Mac mini running High Sierra.

Any help would be appreciated.

MacBook Pro is asking for pin to connect Rocketfish Apple bluetooth mouse. I purchased a new MacBook Pro and am trying to get my old bluetooth mouse to connect but the MacBook is asking for a pin. Is there any way to get a pin or get around this and get them to pair? I have tried generic pins like: 0000, 1234, 9999, etc. I have tried the last 4 of the mouse SN and the whole SN as well. bluetooth/usb-C problems on the 2018 mac mini magic mouse Does any one knows if apple is trying to solve the bluetooth/usb-C problems on the 2018 mac mini? My magic mouse it's starting mess up my workflow, and only happens on the 2018 mac mini. On the Macbook air M1 and the 2009 iMac it's completly fine. Apple doesn't care about this issues, it's becoming really anoying and unprofessional. I'm starting to think the mac mini i have it's a bad machine and apple it's changing directions. If someone has a solution, please tel me. Thanks!!!
