Why not deliver via freight forwarders?

I am a fan of Apple, but I reside in a country where I cannot make an Apple purchase. But who wants to miss out on having an Apple product right? I really want to do my purchase on the Apple Store (online) and no where else. So far, Apple cannot ship to my country and sadly, Apple cannot even deliver to my trusted freight forwarder. What other options do I have to buy directly from Apple (US)?

P.S Don't tell me to buy via Amazon, ebay or other 3rd party re-sellers!

Well, if you do not want to consider buying from a reseller, the only thing I can think of is to buy one in person at an Apple store. Computer warranties are worldwide; however, iPhones and iPads warranties are restricted to the country you buy the device in, so you would need to send or take it to wherever you purchased it.

First of all, Apple are not here. We are end users like you, so you are asking the wrong people.

Second, questioning Apple polices and decisions in these forums is not allowed in the Terms of Use to which you agreed when you signed up here.

Technology is covered by US export restriction laws and that affects all computer makers as well as makers of communications devices. Companies must obey Federal laws to stay in business. Your question would be better directed to the agency that produced this informative web page:

Why not? The problem is that Apple has to pay sales taxes, import fees, duties, etc. everywhere in the world. They aren’t some small company that can slip by unnoticed while they make enough money to start doing business legally at some point in the future. If Apple is shipping products into a country, that country’s authorities will know about it and go after the $$$.

If you have a legal avenue to purchase Apple products, that is what you should use.
