McAfee Safe Connect VPN

McAfee Safe Connect VPN disables my WiFi on my iPhone 7 iOS 14.1 , but not on my wife’s nor either of our iPads. Enable the VPN; WiFi goes out (although it Settings it shows connected).

Disable the VPN and WiFi returns.

McAfee Safe Browsing works OK - no disconnect of WiFi.

How can this be?

I’m thinking you’re right as rain. Any suggestions on a VPN or are all a waste?
