The app row bar in Messages doesnt appear on my iPhone when i click the grey App icon. I have iPhone 7, ios 14 and so far did not find an answer online how to make the Camera/Photo icon functional and the App icon functional? In my case, both icons are not functional...

When did you first notice this issue? What happens when you tap the camera and App Store icons in the screenshot you shared in your previous message? Also, is this happening with specific contacts, or multiple?

Also, make sure your iPhone is up-to-date on software. When you navigate to: Settings > General > Software Update do you see any available updates? If so, please back up your iPhone, then update as explained in the following links:

Thanks for getting back to us with those additional details.
If you force quit the app, do those items work correctly? More info on that in How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Also, does this happen within every Messages conversation, or just specific ones? We ask because the example photo shows a yet-to-be-created Messages conversation, so we want to make sure that we're on the same page.

Hello, I noticed it a few days ago, but I don’t know if this issue is a long term because I dont use Messages. I use Whatsapp. When I tap the Camera and App Store icons - nothing happens. My iPhone is up-to-date.
