Not receiving text messages

There are no settings on the iPhone for SMS. If that stops, then the carrier is responsible for SMS. If you are referring to iMessage, that is a different story. But, you indicate Android devices, which is SMS, which is a carrier function. While it would seem strange regarding this if everything was fine on the phone before, but there isn't a setting that could change.

It is possible, but you would have to search here for that answer. If you are not receiving messages, you would need to troubleshoot that. First off, check with your carrier to ensure that you have an SMS/MMS plan added to your cellular account.
