After updating iPhone 8 Plus to iOS 14, contacts are gone.
We updated my grandma's phone to ios 14. Her contacts are gone now. Only the ones on her sim card are remaning. What should I do?

Hello idil204,
Thanks for helping your grandma out. We understand there are contacts missing after a recent update. There may be some isolation required before going into troubleshooting steps.
- Which account are Contacts linked to? Learn this in Settings > Contacts > Default Account. More than one may be listed and its important to review each webmail to see if contacts remain on the server.
- If Contacts were linked to iCloud, Restore contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and more using iCloud.com and be sure Contacts are on in Settings if you'd like them to sync with the server instead of store on the device.
- If they're not found on iCloud.com, a backup and restore may be completed to recover the data missing.
