I got a new phone but I did not on pair my watch from my old phone and I no longer have that phone

We are launching that I am unable to pair my I watch with my new Apple phone. I cannot unpaired the watch from the old phone because I no longer have the phone.How do I pair my watch with the new phone?

On a computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

Go to Find Iphone.

Select All Devices, then click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase Apple Watch.

Select Next until the device is erased.

Click the remove button next to your Apple Watch.
