Custom AirPod Pro case replacement AppleCare+?

My case is custom (via Apple) and my puppy got to it. It works (thank goodness he didn’t get to the actual earbuds) but it’s pretty badly chewed up. I do have AppleCare+. Do they send a new customized case, or just a plain one for replacement?
