Orange Dot

How do I get the orange dot off my phone? I don’t need an orange dot to indicate that the microphone is in use. That’s common sense if I’m on the phone. It makes me feel like I’m being recorded. How do I get it off? Is it possible to delete the update that started this?

I have turned off access to my microphone to all my apps and but have noticed that it still appears when I make a phone call, is there any way to turn it off? I have also noticed that when I go to my passcode screen that the orange dot is randomly there even though I have turned the app access off and I am not making a call. Has anyone else noticed this? Orange dot When I’m on a call on my iPhone a orange dot appears I know that it represents the microphone I am just wondering can it be turned off? It seems to have only come up since i updated to IOS14 . Thanks for any feed back I don’t know a lot about the technology on these phones

Turn Off Microphone Indicator Hello Wonderful People! My Problem: I want to do a presentation using my iPhone, and record it at the same time (voice only), but the Microphone Indicator, which appears as an orange oval around the clock, and as a red dot over my Wifi/Cellular symbol/s, messes up the flow, authenticity, and professionalism of my presentation. My Question: How do turn this indicator off, if at all possible? I greatly appreciate any answers from anyone who feels that they may have a solution.

It is a security feature.
