IOS 14.2 Update broke Google Authenticator on iPhone XR.

Google Authenticator crashes upon execution after the IOS 14.2 update on iPhone XR. I can no longer log into accounts that require 2FA using Google Authenticator. Please fix. I am dead in the water.

I had the same problem. After OS upgrade to 14.2 the Authenticator app was crashing every time immediately at the start.

I went to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.

Selected the "Authenticator" app and then I offloaded the app. Please notice the difference between "offload" = remove the app but keep the data and "uninstall" which also deletes the data including your 2FA keys.

After I unloaded, i reinstalled the app and then it worked again.
