Can I still use the phone to Trade-in, if the battery has been replaced by another manufacturer?

Apple iPad Trade in I have an iPad Mini that i was going to trade in after buying the new Pro. It’s in good condition and everything with it is pristine, however the charger for it broke years ago. It’s still eligible for a trade in correct? Like i only send in the actual ipad itself ?
