Facebook live has no icons on Mac to add guest

I need to add a guest on facebook live but the icon to 'bring a friend' that appears on my iphone and ipad doesn't show on my Mac......can anyone help?

First, you have to realize that your iMac is a computer and runs on a different OS than your iPhone or iPad. So, on your mac, the browser will display whatever it is that is on Facebook's website displayed through a browser. That is different from the app you have on your iDevices.

Aside from that, Facebook still controls what is displayed - in a browser (on their website) or within an app (their app). So yes, you do need to contact Facebook.

Make sure your using the latest version of Google Chrome. Launch Chrome>>About Chrome and see if it’s running the latest version.

What Apple/Mac OS are you using?

Facebook is not an Apple product, please contact Facebook for support on their products.

Other than, are you on the latest version of Google Chrome?

You will probably need to upgrade your Mac to at least Catalina to use Facebook Live.

Thanks for replying and I realise this but my iphone and ipad both have the app to invite a friend/guest.....its just my Mac which has a different display..... not sure how Facebook can help with this?
