albums not listed in artist's page (but can be searched) on IOS app ... but appears OK online

Hello Guys,

I have an issue with Apple Music on my Iphone (XR) device : if I go to (IE) Metallica artists view, I can only see two albums released.

If I search for albums made by Metalica however I can find all listed and I can listen to them so it's not a country restriction or something like that. I can also confirm the artist's page is ok because if I use the online player I can see that all albums are listed :

I tried to delete and reinstall the app, I rebooted my Iphone (which is on 14.2) and it also just reboot by itself to install the last OS updates. I still face the same issue.

Do you have an idea on how to fix it ?

It looks like no one has responded to your question. Here are a couple things that might help others answer your question:

Does this happen with more than one artist or just the one?

Does this happen when using cellular data as well?

Do the albums eventually show as expected?

Are these albums you have downloaded or are you searching to stream from them? --> Stream, I tried to download some of them but they still do not appear on the Artist's page.

have you been able to use them in the past without issue? --> No, I subscribed to Apple Music on the 6th of November 2020 so I did encounter before as I was not using the app.

Hello,

That's good questions ! So here are my answer :

Does this happen with more than one artist or just the one? ---> I tested with a lot of artists and almost all of them had albums missing from their Artist page (Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Oomph!, etc.) but nothing as bad as Metallica. However, some artists seems to be OK such as Dir En Grey.

Does this happen when using cellular data as well? --> Absolutely, no differences between Wifi or Cellular Data

Do the albums eventually show as expected? --> No they don't, I have to search for them manually ... which is working but not efficient
