Do Not Disturb options

How do I “uncheck” the While iPhone is Locked option? I want to be sure I receive all calls and text notifications even when my phone is locked.

The settings that you describe are only active when Do Not Disturb is active. If Do Not Disturb is turned on, they mean nothing. Your phone will ring, you will receive calls, and you will also receive texts and text notifications.

What you are seeing is normal. DND is turned off so you will still get notifications and calls. That setting is the default if you turn DND on.

My confusion is that I have DND turned off but the check by “While iPhone is locked” still shows. As long as I have DND turned off, will I still hear notifications of texts and incoming calls?

I’m not sure I understand your point. If you want to get calls and text notifications even when your phone is locked, turn off DND.
