How do I determine when a device, such as my iPad, was purchased for first used?

All you need to do is log onto apple.com, sign in, scroll down to “My Devices“, tap on it and select the device that you’re signed into under your Apple ID and it will tell you the original purchase date . I really hope this helps some people! Peace!
