Please add the wallet app to IPads. It would make paying for Apple Card & managing other accounts much easier. I am confused why it did not come supported? Same as a calculator... No calculator on app on an IPad? Why should I have to go 3rd party on something that is “meant to replace my laptop” ?

There is no Apple wallet on my Mac. And, I've needed third party applications for some things. "Meant to replace a laptop" doesn't mean "comes with all the software I might need". If it did, there would be no App Store.

very aggressive response... Large difference between all software for a Mac Vs. an application designed by Apple that can easily be added for iPads. A third part application would not resolve this.
Thanks for the tip, however the interest for Apple wallet is to be able to pay Apple Card, monitor cash back, etc. not for using the iPad at the point of sale
The Apple wallet App is designed to facilitate easy contactless payments using NFC - including mass transit transactions. iPad lacks NFC functionality as it does not incorporate the necessary hardware components - nor is it practical for this purpose due to its relative bulk.
Recent models of iPad do, however, support online payments via ApplePay.
Not all Apple Apps are universally available for both iPhone and iPad - some are only available on one or other platforms. In respect of the iPhone Calculator App, this is just one example of an Apple App that does not have a corresponding App on iPad. There are, however, many third-party Calculator Apps in the Apple App Store. Some are free - and some are actually better than the iPhone Calculator App.
