AirPod pro

I just bought a pair of AirPod pros and was awakened in the night by a really loud noise as the battery died/got low. Used them to listen to music to fall asleep but couldn’t sleep again after ridiculously loud low battery noise woke me. How do I turn this noise off when the battery is low? This is a deal breaker.
