IPhone 12 missing group messages

Group MMS is a phone carrier feature, contact yours.

Same issue for me. Just upgraded to a new iPhone 12 Pro Max on Sprint/TMobile. Group text/MMS messages are randomly not loading or coming through upwards of 12 hours later. Again it’s random though, not all messages in the group text thread affected.

My wife's phone had this problem for 2 weeks. I spent hours on the phone with upper lever support agents. Here is what fixed it! They had to transfer me to an ATT support agent who reprovisioned my wife's phone and then it still didn't work perfectly until a day later. It was the most bizarre frustrating thing, but it's fixed now. Good luck all!

Then all of you need to contact your cellphone provider, MMS has always been a carrier feature not an Apple or iphone feature.

I told you to contact your phone carrier to resolve the issue since MMS is a carrier feature and you don't want to do it and blame it on the phone.

Tell you to schedule and appointment wit the genius bar and it too far.

then just leave your phone as is then, since you're not willing to do any troubleshooting.

Nobody in these user to user technical forums works for Apple nor is Apple here we are all user who volunteer their time to help others.

I gave the user the same response I gave you and that was to contact the phone carrier since MMS is a phone carrrier feature and not Apples.

Same problem for me when I start a group chat that includes android users. My carrier is cricket.

not sure if you saw the note above, but you might try and contact your carrier and ask them to "reprovision your line" That may solve the issue. I did for me at least.
