Midi stuck on Middle C in Logic Pro X

For some reason, whenever i press middle C, Logic doesnt let go when i take my finger of the key (so now I have endless middle C events). I usually fix this by bypassing control surfaces, but thats a temporary solution (and it ruins any time I want to assign knobs to a control). I know its a logic problem because it happens regardless of whether i use a keyboard/computer keyboard as a midi device. Any solution? I run MacOS catalina, 2 yr old Macbook pro/
