Nov 2020 My iPhone X has suddenly started making cricket sounds and running water sounds when no apps are running

My iPhone X has suddenly started making cricket sounds accompanied by running water sounds that start when no apps are running in the past week (since Nov 1, 2020 approximately). It is really weird and very disconcerting. I am running the latest version of iOS for the iPhone X and it is supposed to be doing automatic updates, although I have noticed that those, too, are not happening as they should. I have tried restarting it several times via the Control Center and it has not stopped the cricket and water running sounds from intermittently happening. And once they start, the only thing that makes them stop is to Restart my iPhone X, but that does not stop it from happening again.
