Can I charge my AirPods with my Macbook?

Hey guys I just want to charge my AirPods Pro with it's original USB - C - Lightning (coming with AirPods Pro box) cable by connecting my MacBook Pro 16 inch 2019 model. Does this action make something bad to my Mac's battery?

To elaborate of neuroanatomist's reply, these will charge at the 5 Volt level, and that is supported by many different USB devices and chargers, old and new.

Yes, that will work fine and it will not harm your Mac.

By the way, thanks — I never noticed that my AirPods Pro came with a USB-C charge cable!
