iPhone TTY

I bought a NEW iphone which I now realize was unneseccary as my TTY issues have remained IDENTICAL with both my old & new iphones!!!

Up til 2 months ago this was NOT an issue. I type like crap, so I pre-type, copy & paste it into the TEXT BAR in the TTY program. ONLY now it FLIES thru the text, where it used to go thru them slowly. It now FLIES thru the text making it garbled and unreadable to the Call Assistant???

B4 you ask, NO "Send Immediately" is NOT on!!! This exact routine worked fine til about 2 months ago???

It sounds like you are having an issue using TTY on your new iPhone. We’d like to help however we can.

To start, are you using the steps outlined here to make TTY calls or are you using another app?

Answer or make RTT or TTY calls from your iPhone

Which version of iOS is your iPhone running?

Find the software version on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod

Can you also provide us with more details on exactly what is happening when you answer or make TTY calls?

Dearest Less,

T Y so much for getting back to me. If I cud reach I’d kick my own self in the britches. I thought it was an issue with my 8 plus so I put out another $700 and am now the proud owner of an iPhone 11.

Problem is the exact issue remains. Here it is in a nutshell. Because of tremors I type REALLY poorly. So I pre-type my msg and copy and paste it into my TTY program.

That worked fine til a cpl of mths ago. NOW the msg is “read” at warp speed to the Relay and is therefore garbled.

I don’t think it is a true TTY issue. Something must have happened during an update that makes coping and pasting incompatible with the TTY program??? COMPLICATED!!! I’m running the newest up tp date software. 14.2 I think???
