Security problem

Hey I don't know what just happened but I was just using safary and surfing the net and ones I get an notification that was (you apple id is get an virus and you need to use vpn for at least 7 days and 1hour after that i get notification that was about someone log in to my imessage and after that I go to security and changed my password and my security question and I'm still worry about my iPad and my apple id and my question is am i safe now or should i do something else? Please contact me

If you changed the info via the Apple site, you should be fine.

Had you previously contacted Apple? If so, were you anticipating an email reply? What was the basic content of the email?

If you had not previously reached out to Apple, they would not be contacting you.

It may be worth changing your password. Be certain not to make any changes to your account or password from any link within the email.
