Dexcom G6 Alerts in DND

My husband got a Dexcom G6 and I get the low and high alerts. But I don’t see how I can get them at night when I put my phone in DND. I really like using DND at night so I don’t get all the late night email alerts and other alerts that come in over night that aren’t important. Is there a way to do this? If not, it’s something Apple should think of since this machine is very popular in the diabetes community for both adults and children. Getting the low alert is a distress signal and should have a way to go through DND

Greetings SRJsAngl,

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities! It seems you'd like to allow alerts from a specific app while Do Not Disturb is enabled.

Do Not Disturb will block notifications from the app when the feature is enabled. An option to consider is to disable notifications from apps you don't want interrupting you at night, while leaving the notifications from the Dexcom app enabled. You could then re-enable the notifications in the morning.
