Family sharing only has 5 members (including me), cannot add antoher one

Family sharing only has 5 members (including me) but I`m not able to add a sixth member.

So It's lik this:

  • me
  • family member #1
  • family member #2
  • family member #3
  • family member #4

I deleted and removed and "old" child account as we used it as a generich Apple ID. I replaced it by two separate accounts for each of my two kids. Now I`m trying to add another member but I receive a message that I can't add more than 5 members (Mac).

On my iPhone it says that up to six people form my household can be in a family, ofcourse this is the total, me included, but still I can only have 5.

iPhone 12 Pro, 14

The deleted account is gone? Have you signed out of Settings/Your Name/iCloud, restarted, and signed back in to see if that helped?
