Is is possible to Purchase from iTunes without subscribing to iMusic?

I want to purchase music from the iTune store without signing up for the iMusic subscription. I can't get past the subscribe screen to even listen much less buy the songs. If I press Not Now and try to listen to a song again, the screen automatically returns. The pricing doesn't even show up.
