I went from T-Mobile to Google Fi a few months ago. Now trying to upgrade my Iphone 11 Pro to iphone 12 pro and having some issues. No one at apple seems to have the answers. How do i upgrade with my phone on Google Fi?

That is one of the requirements for the AUP. The phones that come with the AUP are unlocked, however, you cannot get in the program if you are not with one of the major carriers. What you do after that is up to you, but you have to have an account with a major carrier to participate in the AUP. Otherwise, just purchase whatever phone you want. Thanks. However, the upgrade program with Apple they force you to choose one of the major carriers as you go through the process to upgrade.
You probably need to get an unlocked iphone 12. Or as they call it "SIM-free". The option is on the page that you linked.
Understand that is not a part of the AUP. You have to declare one of the major carriers to be able to use AUP.
Google FI is an MVNO.
They resell other people’s spectrum.
They aren’t a major carrier or technically even a real carrier.
Ask Google.
Apple has nothing to do with Google’s phone service or plans.
On the Google Fi site you can buy a data SIM card to go into an iPhone. It say iPhones are in beta right now using Fi. Google Fi uses T-Mobile/Sprint and USA Cellular as well as a network of Wi-Fi hotspots.
That is correct. I've never known Google Fl to be a major carrier. The AUP only works with those carriers.
