Gap between screen and bezel on iPhone 12 Pro

I have spoken with Apple support for hours and will get a replacement phone. But I have noticed that my husbands iPhone has the exact same issue and gap and we also have the exact same model, that we both purchased at the same place. I can see the inside of the mute switch, as well as two gold components. Which I am guessing are the flex cables for the display.

Oh, it is surprising to know that apple makes different quality products for sale via different vendors. And speaking of which I bought my iPhone 12 pro max from my nearest Apple store and I recently found a gap between bezel and screen on one side of my phone. I took my phone to the store and they gave me a replacement. And surprisingly the one also have gaps but now on two sides of the phone. I don’t know how to deduce this but 2 out of 2 phones which I spent a fortune to buy were defective. Now I have to call support to fix this situation and seeing this response leaves me with no hope at all and where nobody from apple is even ready to accept this issue at the first place when the new iPhone 12 series is reportedly marketed as IP68 when you have a gap between screen n bezel for water or moisture from bare hands to get inside the phone and do its magic.

If apple employees are not aware of this I would suggest watching this prior to commenting on customers coming to you for support.
