Hi,

The cable recieved with my IPad which is 2020 model is a USB-C to USB-C it's not like 12w power brick that uses USB-A on the adapter's end .For simplification it's the same adapter that is similar to new 20watt adapter but has an output of 18watts. So I need to know if it can be used with my iphone 12 pro.

The cable, that was delivered with that iPad, cannot be connected with the iPhone 12. And the cable, delivered with iPhone, cannot be connected to the iPads power adapter.

So: No, this won't work.

The only chance you have, is that you would have a separate USB to Lighting cable, from another newer iPhone. This would be able to be connected between the power adapter and the iPhone 12.

So have to either buy an USB-C power adapter or buy a USB-A to Lightning cable.
