iPhone Blurry in top left corner

Since this is a software related issue, I think it is just small bug that would be tough to replicate or trigger intentionally.

Or both our phones are compromised by an elite team of hackers from foreign county’s military that is using millions of other devices to attack core infrastructure causing many nations to devolve into failed states. This would lead to food shortages making cannibalism the only option for survival, especially if there is a nuclear winter.

So worst case scenario, you become a cannibal that lives in a nuclear wasteland.

(sorry, I clearly have way too much time on my hands)

Since the the day before yesterday the problem spontaneously evaporated, i.e. it has not occurred to me anymore, after my iPhone XS had this disease for 4 days.

I did not install any further updates apart from the one on WhatsApp, which initially did not helped.

So, I'm happy. Hope the problem disappears for my iPhone XS forever.

Restart the device.

Appeared tonight on iPhone 12 Pro Max. Fully updated.

Same on new iphon12 pro max, though not directly after an update. Woke up, looked at my phone. Left to make coffee, came back and this.

restart didn’t remove it.

Same issue and now there’s a little dot appearing where the blue was. Looks like a camera dot??

Blur not blue

This problem just happened with my iPhone XR and this "trick" solved the problem. It was on Dark mode, switching to "Light mode" and than going back to dark fixed the issue. Tks!

Thanks for the settings solution. New to iPhone. I was afraid I had done something wrong!

Same here - got up to make coffee just now and came back to blur on screen. NOT cool, Apple. Brand néw 12 pro max.

This worked for me whilst in settings the minute I came out the blurred triangle came back. It’s only if I keep settings on in background this remains off argh 😠
