How do I record video to a local storage?

I have Eufy Indoor Cams. They have the option for SSD storage. After enabling HomeKit with the cam, I cannot record videos to the local storage. Apple HomeKit records to iCloud for 1 camera for users with 200 GB storage plan. To record another camera I have to upgrade to the 2 TB iCloud storage plan. My current needs are not so high and I find paying $9.99 + taxes a little too much to just to be able to record another camera to the cloud. I know it is comparatively cheaper than other providers but I want the option to store the videos to my local storage as these cameras are internal only and have specific use.

Please let me know how to record to SSD if this feature is supported, if not please add this option.

Yes and this is a problem created by Apple. Apparently the vendor provided features are disabled if Homekit is enabled. Thing like 2K video, SSD recording, AI based tracking etc. are gone. I do not care about the 2K video streaming. 1080P is fine. AI tracking isgreat to have, Homekit provides that. What homekit takes away though is recoding to SSD. Apple should fix this.
