Finding frequently used apps

So before i got the iPhone 12 i had an XR. I liked how i was able to pull down on the screen to find my most frequently used apps and the search bar. This was more convenient than swiping through all of my apps and having to find the most used apps i wanted to open. But now when i pull down all it shows is the search bar. It no longer shows the apps that i frequently use. Is there a way to change this or to easily find the apps i most frequently use?
