imessage not working since porting to digicel Trinidad

Hello. I have an iPhone 11 Pro and everything was working fine until porting from bmobile to Digicel (Trinidad) I’ve done all of the recommended steps on the Apple site with nothing solved. The questionable part is Apple is able to send me texts messages yet my iMessage is still not working. My last option is going back to my original carrier as the current one (Digicel) doesn’t care about my problem

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand you’ve run into an issue with Messages on your iPhone. We’ll be happy to help.


If the issue has to do with activating Messages, follow the steps in this guide: If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime.


If sending and/or receiving is the issue, follow these steps instead: If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. We hope this helps.
