iPhone 11 and MacBook Pro not connecting through Airdrop

Swapped my iPhone 8 for an iPhone 11 last week, set up from backup, and now it won't let me connect to my MacBook Pro (OS 10.14.6) via Airdrop and vice versa.

With the iPhone 8 this wasn't an issue, I used this function quite often.

I did read some other topics about this issue. Checked all the settings (Airdrop, wifi, Bluetooth, etc.), tried turning it on and off again. Everything is set as should be.
