Apple Watch Activation Lock resolution

I bought a series 4 watch on eBay. Great condition but the activation lock is on. Is there a way I can bypass to resetting the watch in the event I can’t get in touch with the original owner?

Need help with Activation Lock Hi, i bought a second hand apple watch of a reseller online. But the watch came with an Activation lock from some previous owner.
