Whatsapp call ends when I watch a video

Hi, I realized that whenever I video call on Instagram and Snapchat, the time on the top left (iPhone 11) is green. During these calls I can watch any video or do whatever.

When I make a Whatsapp video call, the time turns red - and whenever I pull up a video in my gallery, Twitter, or any other app - the call just ends completely.

I saw someone else with this problem 9 months ago, but has anyone found a solution?
