I am trying to update my iPad using the info to connect my iPad to the computer and find it in the sidebar in finder. The iPad is not showing up in locations. I have tried restarting the computer, unplugging and replugging in the iPad but nothing changes.
All operating systems are up to date on the Mac.
I figured it out. The instructions are not clear ! The sidebar in finder does not show the iPad but if you go to Recents you will see a new sidebar that does show the iPad. From there, the download can be accessed.
