super sensitivity of Catalina trackpad/mighty mouse

MY advisor said wait for a few weeks or months when a redo of Catalina will come out? Has anyone solved this issue of super sensitivity on the new iMac?

Erratic mouse movement in Catalina 10.15.7. Currently running Catalina 10.15.7. on a 27-inch, Late 2013 iMac. My Logitech M705 mouse control is behaving in an erratic manner. It jumps about the screen, sometimes doesn't move at all and occasionally suddenly enlarges the pointer. Rebooting doesn't resolve the issue. I downloaded the Firmware Update Tool from Logitech and it tells me I have the latest update. Can anyone assist please? Cheers.

Trackpad lag on mac pro running Catalina 10.15.5 I'm having issues on my new 2020 Mac Pro running the latest OS update. If the trackpad isn't connected to the computer, it has an unbearable inicial lag. Anyone else experiencing something similar? I can't contact apple because somehow I'm blocked.
