I just purchased an applewatch se and when i tried to put thr bands in place one clicked in but the other will not no matter what side I put it in. Looking st it the middle piece is different than the ones on the sides of it

Make sure the band is in the right way (side with 2 bumps towards the watch face)
You should feel it clip into place.
For a test, you can change the end that works to the side of the watch that doesn't work to test if it is the band or the watch.
