Does the new 2020 Mac Mini M1 have a Toslink Mini in the 3.5mm headphone jack?
Is it simply an analog output?
No modern Macs offer this feature?
The TOSLINK capability on all Macs has been tossed for
a few years now.
Toslink is obsolete, gone on Mac minis since 2018 and won’t be coming back. Have a nice day.

What about that Mac Mini that developers had access to that last year?
You would need to speak to a developer that had one, however I suspect they were the same as the machines released yesterday.
