I’m new to Apple products how do I use Air Drop ??

One time setup:
On an iOS device, go to Settings/General/Airdrop. Choose between Contacts Only or Everyone.
On a Mac open Finder (usually at the left end of the Dock) and tap on AirDrop in the left side menu. Click on Allow me to be discovered by: and choose Contacts or Everyone.
To send something from a Mac just drag it onto the Airdrop window in Finder and you will be prompted to choose a device.
To send something from an iPhone or other iOS device display the item to send, then tap on the Share icon (the square with an up arrow), then Airdrop, and tap on the device to receive the item.
