disappointed at iPhone 12, it doesn’t include charger and earphone, can we charge it using old charger or do we have to buy something designed to be used for it. Thinking of returning it seriously

You can use any charger from any previous iPhone, iPad or even recent MacBooks. you can even use chargers for other brands of phones like Samsung Galaxy devices.
Any USB charger you have from a previous device is likely to work fine.
The removal of the charger and headphones was done for environmental reasons, and mostly because at this point in time its incredibly unlikely you do not have another chaerger from a previous device you can use with it or other headphones.
Most people just go out and buy a wireless charger or another charging option as well as other headphones even if they were to be included, so it stops making sense to include it.

Agreed I have charger and will use however earphones should have been included rather than one year free tv subscription, good tactic to boost sale of Apple TV. But will now have to pay another 19£ for basic earphone and 15£ for usb cable! I am an apple user from over a decade and this time I didn’t even bother looking at what’s included and what not placed an order! If I knew earphone not included I would have never placed an order!

I have like 6 different earphones from past iPhones I've bought and literally dozens of cables from past devices and ones I have bought myself.
Amazon.co.uk has good quality lightnnig cables as low as 6.99£
This is just whining for the sake of whining.
I am not here to argue with anyone who is still holding 6 sets of earphones from prev models and cables tight! Probably join hands with apple, recycle it and reduce carbon footprint!

I upgraded my phone from IP6s to IP12 last week, so obviously the old earphone doesn't work for the new phone. Also, it doesn't make any sense that only the charger cord included in the box but not the wall charger! Agreed that I am thinking of returning the phone!
