Unifying Receiver for Mac OS

I bought a Logitech M510 mouse which has a unifying receiver. When I placed the usb into my usb plug-in and placed that into the Mac, it worked for a little while. However now, my flash drive no longer works in either port for the usb plug-in, and the unifying receiver for the mouse does not work either. Has anyone ran into this problem or is it just me?

Hey there jbrown2023,

We'd like to help get both of those accessories working again with your Mac, so let's start ruling out some possible causes:

  1. If you have another USB adapter to test, let us know the results.
  2. If we're correct in saying you have USB-C connections on your Mac, please confirm if you've been able to test a USB-C device directly with those ports.
  3. As the new Apple Silicon processors were announced for new Mac models, if you're using an Intel-based Mac, check out: How to reset the SMC of your Mac If you have one of the new models with Apple Silicon, let us know if the issue remains after a restart of your Mac.
  4. Please confirm if you using an Apple-branded USB adapter to connect your USB accessories.

We look forward to hearing back from you about these details, and take care!
