Why does the iPhone 12 not have a charger
Apple’s official statement
“Apple is also removing the power adapter and EarPods from iPhone packaging, further reducing carbon emissions and avoiding the mining and use of precious materials, which enables smaller and lighter packaging, and allows for 70 percent more boxes to be shipped on a pallet.”

You can google this if you like, but simply, Apple is going greener this year and believes (truthfully so) that most people already have a drawer full of charging bricks from phones they've owned over the years. If you've owned an iPhone, the charging brick you already own will charge your new phone just fine, so they chose to no longer add an accessory most people don't need. Same for headphones and to be even more honest, most people buy wireless chargers for their phones and have moved to Bluetooth headphones long ago. I did long ago.
Apple no longer includes a charge cube or headphones with any iPhone purchase.
What is their reasoning behind this? More money from their customers?
Ok I get that, thanks
