Why 5G is not available when using dual sim & WHY IT IS AVAILABLE IN CHINA . Does this make sense ??????????
Its a hardware limitation. Not only on Apple devices, but on Android devices too. Dual sim operation currently does not support 5G no most devices.

Hope that semiofficial claim about planned SW update enabling dual-sim is true. However, Apple has never confirmed that. I think that Apple really should enable 2nd sim active in 4G-2G mode only for receiving calls/texts in case that real 5G dual-sim is not supported by HW...
My question is still not answered . I am asking why it’s available in China but not everywhere else?
There have been claims that Apple should add support for 5G dual-sim later this year through SW update. Is this still the case? Any updates regarding this plan???
That’s right because it defeats the purpose buying an iPhone 12 in this case, otherwise we should keep the iPhone 11 until Apple release the new version.
Its not. Dual 5G is not supported anywhere. In china when using 2 physical sims 5G is only supported on the one used for data. You don’t get 5G on both sims at the same time.
The iPhones in China have different hardware than the rest of the world to accommodate the 2 physical sims, since the eSim is not allowed there.
