MY Mac can't upgrade the software

what if my Mac says" Installation failed An error occurred while installing the selected updates." I really need help to upgrade my Mac

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

It started to download now.

This is what I have done .. instead click the download on software update I click the “more info”. Then it goes to Mac App Store Preview page , then it redirected to App Store app, last click “Add”, then the download started …
